To keep the Plainville Times a community paper, we actively encourage community members to submit content. Please choose the appropriate form below.
Submit a calendar event
The community is invited to submit their public events to the community calendar for FREE! Events can be meetings, live music, or repeating activities (like Summer Reading at the Plainville Memorial Library) as long as attendence is free, and there’s no expectation for attendees to buy products or services.
If you DO have an event with paid admission, we can help reserve seats or sell tickets. If you are soliciting for sales, we can build a paid ad for your event both online and in print.

Submit an engagement, wedding, anniversary, promotion, achievement or birth
Similar to above, this form would collect the type of community notices listed. It would also collect a photo, so we can run it with the notice. The idea is to make it simple(r) for people to submit information.
Place a greeting in the … special section
Similarly, here people can put a greeting for a special section – the Fall Athlete recognition or Firefighter recognition. This form would collect contact info, the greeting, and the fee ($5 per greeting).
